Man '˜had hatchet and knife'
A Kilrea man has been charged with possessing a hatchet and a lock knife as offensive weapons in a public area near his home.
Darren Joseph Casey (29), of Claragh Hill Grange, is alleged to have committed the offences on December 27 last year.
He is also accused of damaging two cars belonging to two men and causing damage to a street light.

Hide AdIn the dock at Coleraine Magistrates Court last Monday said he understood the charges.
He was released on his own bail of £300 with the same conditions which he signed at a police station and the case was adjourned to February 27.
