A Portadown man who had been ‘living the lifestyle of a lout’ has had four months added to a prison sentence he is presently serving.
Samuel Herron (28), Westland Road, appeared last Friday at Craigavon Court via videolink.
He is serving an eight month sentence with a November 30 release date.
District Judge, Mr Desmond Perry, had deferred cases last year but Herron had re-offended.
A barrister said Herron had been warned about breaching probation and re-offending.
He was sentenced to four months in custody for disorderly behaviour and two months concurrently for obstructing a constable at Westland Road on August 29, 2014.
On September 29, 2014, he made been made the subject of a probation order. Judge Perry revoked the order and replaced it with four months’ prison.
He ordered that the two terms of four months would be concurrent with each other but should run consecutively to the term Herron is serving.
Bail was set at £500 for Herron to appeal the sentence.
