Man was in rowdy group

A CRAIGAVON man who was one of a group of about 10 people who were said to have been rowdy and disorderly in a local estate, has been fined £150.

Christopher Barry Carlisle (25), of Lakeview Court, Drumgor, admitted disorderly behaviour at Burnside, on July 2 last.

A Crown lawyer said police had gone to the estate after reports that people had been rowdy in the area. She told Friday's court the police saw Carlisle among a group of about 10 people causing noise and general nuisance.

The lawyer said Carlisle was warned several times about his behaviour, but persisted, and was eventually arrested.

A defending solicitor said the disorderly was low key, but Carlisle’s difficulty was that he had a previous conviction.
