Even though they had been given a police caution for a drugs offence two young men were caught a short time later in possession of cannabis.
David Leonard (18), Queen Street, Portadown, and James Rowntree (22), Edenaveys Crescent, Armagh, appeared last Friday at Craigavon Court.
They admitted possession of cannabis on March 14 and were fined £150.
The court heard that police spoke to the defendants who were in a car and drug paraphernalia was found.
Rowntree handed a cigarette to police which he said contained cannabis and a small bag of cannabis was found on the floor which Leonard said belonged to him.
Both had a previous caution for a similar offence.
A solicitor representing both defendants said on the first occasion they were together and only a small amount was involved.
He said this was a similar situation. The amount Leonard had was worth less than £20 while Rowntree only had a cigarette.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said he was concerned they had been caught with drugs such a short time after the first offence.
He warned the defendants that if they repeated the offence they would be fined.
