Men arrested following ‘suspicious activity’

Police attended the scene and discovered two men burning property in the yard. Two men, aged 19 and 24, were arrested at the scene. They have both been released on bail pending further police enquiries.

Area Commander, Chief Inspector Sam Donaldson said, “This is clearly an example of how important it is to report suspicious activity. On this occasion, my officers were able to catch the criminals committing a crime.

“I would strongly urge anyone who thinks something is suspicious to report it to Police. If you see people acting suspiciously around property or in vehicles and you think they should not be there, call the Police.

“The information will help us apprehend criminals or provide us with valuable evidence. Please always call the police and report suspicious activity.”
