The Millennium Arts Centre in William Street is launching three special events on Thursday, July 30, between the hours of 7pm and 9pm.

Firstly, there is ‘Vessels’ by Sara Flynn in Gallery 1. Sarah is an acclaimed Irish ceramist, based in Belfast and Cork, and works in porcelain to produce sculptural vessels in a range of forms and scale.

Her glazes and finishes have been described as “outstanding” by Irish Art Critic Aidan Dunne.

The exhibition runs until September 23.

Secondly, Craft NI will launch an exhibition in partnership with MCAC in Gallery 2 called ‘Making It: 10’. This exhibition celebrates 10 years of Craft NI’s ‘Making It Programme’ (supporting local craft) with work by 27 celebrated and talented craft makers. This exhibition also runs until September 23.

Thirdly, Craft NI have chosen Sara Flynn’s Ontogeny Exhibition, from all the craft exhibitions happening throughout Northern Ireland during August, to launch this year’s 2015 ‘August Craft Month’.

Free refreshments will be served.
