Two new stores have opened at High Street Mall and another has expanded, creating 10 jobs.
The newcomers are coffee shop Del Piero and sewing and craft shop Bhilee Designs.
Meanwhile, phone business JU Accessories have relocated from their spot outside The Works bookshop to bigger premises beside Superdrug.
Del Piero, situated outside Dunnes Stores, serve hot and cold drinks including milkshakes, smoothies, slushies and Bailey’s coffee, as well as traybakes and pastries.
The coffee shop is open from 8am every weekday and trades seven days a week.
Sewing and craft shop Bhilee Designs, beside The Streat Café, holds weekly workshops, sewing lessons and one-to-one classes. They also provide sewing machines to use, a craft corner to read in and handmade bespoke gifts to buy.
And due to popular demand JU Accessories have relocated their store to larger premises beside Superdrug. JU specialise in phone and fashion covers for special occasions, phone chargers, sim cards, accessories and repairs.
High Street Mall centre manager Tracey Jackson said, “These new stores will fit perfectly to the retail mix of the centre and are designed to add to the customers’ shopping experience along with our two hours’ free parking and free WIFI service.
“ I am very pleased the retailers have chosen to set up their Portadown store at High Street Mall as they also add to our family focus initiatives as well as bringing new jobs to the town centre”.
The mall is also planning to introduce a customer service kiosk.
Ms Jackson said High Street Mall had also become the first centre in Northern Ireland to train all their customer services officers in dementia awareness.
