No insurance man is convicted

A 28-year-old man was convicted in his absence last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court of driving without insurance.

Mateusz Lukasz, Watson Street, Portadown, was fined £300, ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy and banned for two months.

The court heard he had told police he did not have insurance when he was stopped at Florence Court, Portadown, on May 14 this year.

Lukasz did not appear in court and was convicted in his absence.
