Hospitalised after assault

Police in Limavady are appealing for information following a serious assault which took place on Market Street, Limavady just after midnight on Saturday, December 22, 2012.

A male was assaulted by an unknown individual in the vicinity of a bakery and sustained serious facial injuries that required hospital treatment, namely, two metal plates inserted around his left eye socket.

The male ended up in the general direction of Tesco’s. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information relating to the assault is asked to contact Police at Limavady on 0845 600 8000 or alternatively information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
