Taxi drivers back cancer charity

Five taxi drivers from Club Cabs in Monkstown sported new hairdos on Wednesday, May 21 to raise awareness of their fundraising efforts for CLIC Sargent.

Gary Jenkins, Paul Gibson, Derek Chambers, Gerry Calvert and Ian Mogey all wore special wigs during their shifts to show their support for the children’s cancer charity, which they have been collecting for over the past month.

“We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their help and generosity towards this great cause,” Mr Jenkins told the Times.
