Parked cars disrupt bus services in Mossley
Metro bus services in the Old Mossley area had to be rerouted on Wednesday morning (February 3) due to parked cars blocking The Glade.
Cars parked along the bus route close to Mossley West Rail Halt caused significant disruption to 1D services for several hours.
On Wednesday morning, a Translink spokesperson tweeted: “1D services will be omitting Mossley Estate due to parked cars at Mossley West Rail Halt. This will be until further notice. Apologies for inconvenience caused.”

Hide AdShortly before 2pm Translink confirmed that 1D services were back operating their normal route following the earlier diversion.
Speaking from The Glade, DUP Cllr Stephen Ross said: “This situation has caused a lot of hassle for the local residents. It has been ongoing for some time and more parking is needed.”
