Jamie Watt from Mossley Hockey Club added: “This year, the club celebrates its 90th year, and no better way to do so than a £500 donation from Asda.  We are so thankful for this donation - the hockey club currently facilitates around 100 boys and 150 girls with a waiting list for players. The money will be used to improve pitch facilities here at the club, making it even more enjoyable for those who attend.”

Crosslinks Café at Ballyclare Presbyterian Church gathers every Friday and offers a place for members of the community to meet for a coffee and a chat. The café runs solely on donations and the help of six volunteers, whilst also donating some of the money collected to other local charities.

Volunteer Margaret Millar said: “We would like to thank Asda for its generosity in donating £500 to Crosslinks Café. This isn’t the first donation we have received from the Asda Foundation and we are so thankful for its continued support.  The money will be used to upgrade our equipment due to the increase in number of visitors to the café.”
