Fittingly named the ‘Panoramic Wheel’, this fully illuminated wheel at Jordanstown Loughshore car park will open on Friday, August 14 offering panoramic views across the picturesque coastline and beyond.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Cllr Jim Montgomery said: “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Panoramic Wheel to our borough this Summer.

“The impressive structure will stand proudly overlooking the shores of Belfast Lough, providing outstanding views over the shoreline and surrounding townland as far as the eye can see.”

The Mayor continued: “Why not bring the family down to Jordanstown Loughshore and while you are here, take advantage of some of the local restaurants taking part in the Government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme. You can enjoy half price dining, Monday – Wednesday in restaurants including Whose Café, Little Wing, The Kinara and Sozo.

“There is no doubt that the retail and hospitality sectors have suffered immensely as a result of Covid-19 and it is great to see the doors of many businesses back open again.

“They are vital to the local economy and the social fabric of our community and so I would encourage you all to come out and support these businesses on their road to recovery.”
