Residents across Mid and East Anrtrim are being reminded that bin collections over the New Year period are to take place as normal.

Black, blue and brown bin collections due to take place on Monday, January 2 2023 across Ballymena, Larne and Carrickfergus will be collected on that date.

There will also be a normal collection of kerbside recycling boxes on January 2 in Ballymena and Carrickfergus.

Meanwhile, Sullatober household recycling centre will be closed on Sunday, January 1 2023.

New Year: bins to be collected 'as normal' across Mid and East Antrim
