Police appeal after cars set alight

Police investigating two incidents in Coleraine in May in which cars were damaged by fire are appealing for the assistance of the public.

The first incident happened in the early hours of 14 May when a car was set alight in the Sunset Park area of Portstewart. The car was completely burnt out and no person was injured as a result.

The second incident, which police are treating as linked to the first, happened when a car was set alight in the Seahaven park area of Portstewart at around 3:30am on 17 May. The car was extensively damaged, but again no person suffered injuries.
