New homes for Clare area proposed

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s planners are currently considering a proposal to bring 20 new homes to a village near Tandragee.

The application, submitted by agent CDA-NI on behalf of applicant Geddis and Simpson will, if approved, see 20 homes built 35m east of 5 Clare Road, Clare.

The planning application form notes the 0.73 hectare site for the proposed development is currently being used as agricultural land.

It is proposed the estate will be fenced off with traditional five space rails and posts spaced 1m apart which will be pneumatically driven into the ground.

The application was lodged on Tuesday, February 23, and validated on the same day.

It will be advertised until Friday, April 9.
