£38k towards city firm’s growth strategy

Londonderry based telemarketing company, 1 Stop Data is being assisted by Invest Northern Ireland to target new business outside the UK.

Specialising in providing UK and international businesses with consumer email marketing lists for targeted direct marketing, the company is creating two new jobs, investing in training and undertaking research into new markets.

Invest NI is supporting the company’s overall growth strategy with assistance of £38,000.

The new investment was welcomed by George McKinney, Invest NI’s Director of Technology & Services “1 Stop Data is a good example of an enterprising and ambitious small company that has built an impressive portfolio of clients and continued, through excellent customer service and a unique business model, to attract new sales.

“The company understands the demands of an increasingly competitive telemarketing sector and our support is geared to helping the company develop new business and ultimately grow.

“This investment opens up the possibility of developing further services specifically in the area of digital marketing which will help the company to significantly increase its market share in the UK, Ireland and beyond. This is great news for the company and for Derry” he concluded.

“We recently established a satellite office in Austin Texas focused on integrating our database assets with top North American marketing agencies, as well as providing strategic services for some of our major accounts. This is just one element of our growth strategy.

“The advice and very practical support we received from Invest NI has been invaluable. We will be recruiting a new Head of Operations to assist us to grow our products and services and increase sales through our Derry centre which will help to improve our processes and increase our presence in vital overseas markets.

“We also understand that we work in a fast moving environment and it is essential that our employees are well trained. Invest NI support is helping us to achieve this and we hope the new roles will help to generate new leads and indeed new business.”
