After putting razor blades in a foil lined bag a 26-year-old woman left Tescos without paying for the goods.
Juliana Szombatiova, Clonavon Avenue, Portadown, was put on probation for 12 months last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
She admitted the theft of razor blades valued at £52.50 from Tescos in Lurgan on July 18 this year.
The court heard the defendant was observed putting the items into a bag, which was lined with foil, and leaving the store without offering them for payment.
The razor blades were recovered and were fit for re-sale.
Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said there was a favourable recommendation in the pre-sentence report.
