Remember life has its joyful moments too

Though the world’s a big and crowded place

Take heart, you need not travel alone,

Let’s hide the little hurts and disappointments

Everyone has a share of their own.

Despite the setbacks and the pain,

Sorrows pass, soon the clouds disperse

And the sun appears again.

Give thanks for the storms you have weathered

And the times you have made it through,

Mindful the written word clearly assures us

God’s tender mercies are still new.

‘Tis good to reflect on His grace divine

His promise a tender watch to keep,

Take His hand and cease to be impatient

He knows when the way is steep.
