Sam Gardiner said: “It has been my privilege to have served the people of Lurgan for nearly sixty years on Council and for the past 12 years in the Northern Ireland Assembly. I was honoured to serve on that period alongside Kyle’s late father, George Savage, both on Craigavon Borough Council and in the Northern Ireland Assembly.”

“Kyle Savage is a fine man who will work tirelessly for the people of Upper Bann, both in it’s three main towns but also across the rural areas. I encourage everyone to vote Savage 1 on the 5th May.”

Kyle Savage said: “Sam Gardiner’s record of service is second to none. I pay tribute to his dedication and commitment to the area and for what he has achieved for so many people in the area. If elected to Stormont, I hope to build on the work Sam has done to date and to help deliver for all of Upper Bann in this next mandate of the Northern Ireland Assembly.”
