Samaritans will be providing support this weekend at the NW200

The volunteers will be on the streets of Portrush and Portstewart providing support from 9pm on Friday night through the night until the early hours of Sunday morning.

This non-stop confidential, emotional face to face service is in addition to the 24/7 helpline service offered by Samaritans across the UK and Ireland 365 days a year.

Events such as the NW200 attract large numbers of people of all ages and lifestyles aiming to have a good time, however it can often be lonely in a crowd, and despite the good atmosphere many people can experience feelings of loss or despair because of things that have happened in their lives or something they are going through.
