Six of the best for Coleraine YFC

COLERAINE YFC members set off to Armagh City Hotel for the annual conference and AGM.

The Friday evening entertainment was organised by Co. Armagh committee, with this year’s fancy dress theme as Farm and Farm Animals - a very enjoyable night was had by all.

he presidential team for 2010/11 was voted in, congratulations to all elected and especially to Coleraine YFC member James Taylor, who was re-elected as one of the four vice-presidents.

This was only the beginning of Coleraine’s success.

John Cochrane collected his no.10 proficiency badge and William Cochrane gained his no.11 badge, showing their dedication to the organisation over the years.

Kathryn Taylor won the PRO of the Year and Robert Calvin came joint third in the Machinery Section of the Young Farmer of the Year. Congratulations to everyone.

Coleraine YFC dominated the competitions once more, to bring six out of six CEO special cups back to Coleraine.

This is an achievement that is unique to Coleraine and shows the strengths, dedication and hours of hard work put in by all the members.

To celebrate their success the members changed into their glad rags and attended the conference dinner dance where they boogied into the early hours of the morning.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents, friends and coaches who have supported the club over the past year, without them the clubs tremendous success would not have been possible.

Also thanks must go to all the members who have put many hours of hard work and dedication for Coleraine YFC.
