Six points for driver

A 28-year-old man was fined £300 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on September 27 this year.

Andrew Francis Smyth, Tandragee Road, Portadown, was also given six points.

Smyth, who pleaded guilty himself in court, said that he wasn’t aware he was driving without insurance.

He explained that at the time his car was seized and he had to walk home but the next day he got insurance and got his car back.
