Star Wars descend on a ‘galaxy’ not so far, far away - Cookstown
Ewoks, bounty hunters and storm troopers descended on Asda Cookstown in a bid to raise money for the superstore’s Tickled Pink campaign.
The fundraising drive, now in its eighteenth year, will donate an impressive £38m raised across all of its stores to Breast Cancer Care and the Breast Cancer Campaign.
A troop from the 501st Ireland Garrison, part of the worldwide ‘501st Legion’ of Star Wars fans who have been dressing up to support charities for the last 17 years, thrilled Asda customers last Saturday, June 26, raising a total of £434, to go towards both breast cancer charities.
