Taking the plunge - Mother is abseiling Europa for charity!
Heather McCaroll has been fund-raising for this charity ever since her three-year-old son Tom was diagnosed with the disease back in 2010.
Heather is abseiling down the Europa this Saturday and has set up a web page for people to donate for the MGA charity.

Hide AdMyanthenia Gravis is an auto-immune disease which is characterized by fluctuating, sometimes fatal, muscle weakness.
The body’s immune system attacks itself weakening the voluntary muscles that control the eyes, face, throat, limbs and even the muscles that help us breathe.
In November 2011, Tom was in intensive care in the Royal Victoria Hospital, very seriously ill, unable to move, feed or open his eyes.
When he was diagnosed with Myanthenia Gravis, doctors started Tom on medication and since then he has to undergo physiotherapy and learn how to walk all over again. He still requires his medication every day to ensure that his muscles keep moving.
