Free parking has been made available to the public in Portadown town centre - for a limited time only.
Due to the ongoing work which is taking place at the Old Town Quay, parking charges have been lifted from the Marley Street site.
The work beside the town’s Haldane Fisher store has been ongoing for several months now, as the Council rolls out plans to redevelop the area - with hopes to open up a range of recreational and tourism opportunities.
A statement from Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council said: “Car parking at Marley Street Portadown will be free whilst the contract work at the Old Town Quay is taking place. Once the work is completed, charges will be reinstated immediately.”
