Thieves make off with field gates

Gates have been stolen from fields in two separate incidents in Tandragee and Scarva.

In the Scarva theft, two 10ft galvanised gates were removed from a field on Terryhoogan Road between 6pm on Wednesday, March 30 and 9.30am on Friday, April 1.

In a similar incident, three iron gates were stolen from a field on Cargans Road, Tandragee, between Wednesday, March 30 and Friday, April 1. One of the gates was 14ft while the other two were between nine and 10ft.

Police are investigating a link between these incidents and would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the areas. They can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 505 010416.
