Top class racers from across the UK will be descending on Craigavon at the end of this month for the prestigious British Championships.
And it is no ordinary form of car racing, for this event is being hosted by the Craigavon Model Car Club.
Two rounds of the British Championships will be held at the Kernan Sports area in Portadown (BT63 5YB) on Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1.
The event will include drivers from all over the UK and Ireland hoping to win vital points for the Championship.
The 5th scale cars powered by 23cc, two stroke engines will include classes in 4WD Mini, 2WD saloons, motorbikes (stock and superbike).
John Campbell, Club Secretary, said: “Car parking and spectating is free on all race days so we would urge the public to come along and enjoy the fast paced action on the day.”
The club also runs a NI Championship throughout the year and further information on race dates and membership can be found at www.cmcc.co.uk.
