Three Portadown teenagers will star in a forthcoming Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society production of West Side Story.
The musical is being staged in Portadown Town Hall from Thursday, September 3 to Sunday, September 6.
Dylan Breen (14) and a student at St Colman’s in Newry will take to the stage as ‘Baby John’, one of the Jets, while Alex Truesdale (13), a student of Clounagh Junior High, will appear as ‘Indio’, a Puerto Rican Shark.
Molly Liggett, aged 15 and a student at Portadown College, will perform as the tomboy ‘Anybodys’.
MNathan Reilly from Brownlow will play Bernardo, the leader of The Sharks, and Cuan Hosty Blaney will star as Riff. Producer Kieran Corr said, “West Side Story is a classic musical and we are delighted that Dylan, Alex and Molly will appear .”
Tickets cost £8 and £6 concession and are on sale from Winnie’s Newsagents, Woodhouse Street, and Greenes Nisa Local, Legahory Centre, Brownlow.
