Tractors and quad bikes stolen from Cookstown

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of farming equipment has been stolen from a secure yard in Cookstown.

Police say two tractors and two quad bikes were taken from the premises on the Killyneedan Road area on Sunday night.

The vehicles were a Ford Newholland tractor TM140, registration number PHZ 8718 with a Redrock slurry pump attached, a Case International Red/Black, registration number MHZ7007, with damage to the lower bonnet and back mudguard, a Honda 500 quad and a Honda 350 quad.

Detectives would ask anyone who observed tractors being driven on the Killyneedan Road or Annaghquinn Road to contact them at Cookstown CID on 0845 600 8000.
