Traffic in parts of Portadown has grounded to a halt after the closure of Brownstown Road.
Photographs taken by the Portadown Times at 5pm tonight (Tuesday) shows long tailbacks on the Armagh Road coming out of town.
Brownstown Road is to be closed to traffic for four weeks to allow a major resurfacing scheme to take place.
The scheme will extend from Drumard Avenue junction to the off-slip from Northway.
The Tandragee Road is also closed to allow work on the Annagh Bridge.
