Ballyclare oil spill: motorists advised to drive with 'extra care'

Motorists in south Antrim are being advised to drive with “extra care” after an oil spill was reported in the Ballyclare area this morning (Monday, December 19).

Detailing the issue on the Traffic Watch Northern Ireland website, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “We have had a report of an oil spillage from a lorry on the A57 Templepatrick Road between Templepatrick towards the B59 Ballyrobert Road, Ballyclare.

"Please take extra care if you are driving in the area.”
