The Bible proclaims that a cheerful heart

Just like a medicine does us good,

Positive thoughts will lighten the mood.

Make the most of your chances to cheer and bless

Some events, ‘tis best just to overlook,

The things we do and say each day

All accumulate in memory’s book.

As day turns to night it brings comfort

To acknowledge the blessings sent from above,

Give thanks for the peace and comfort of sleep
