Trust staff raise £184,237 for charity
The ‘Southern Trust does Strictly Come Dancing’ events alone totalled £150,500 with the remaining £33,737 coming from a range of fundraising activities such as ‘The Blooming Great Tea Party’, sponsored cycles and ‘The Great Daffodil Appeal.’
Over 100 ‘dancers’ signed up to take part in ‘Southern Trust does Strictly Come Dancing’ all in aid of Marie Curie.

Hide AdThe top five couples from the four local heats in October then went head-to- head at the grand final on November eleventh.
“ range of staff and friends from across the Trust along with Marie Curie colleagues and other willing dancers, resulted in a huge team effort to raise an amazing total for such a worthy cause.
Roberta Brownlee, Southern Trust Chairperson said: “As well as being fun events and personal challenges for the staff involved, we are delighted to have raised such a substantial sum for Marie Curie.
“I would like to congratulate all of those involved for giving of their own personal time and throwing themselves into this task wholeheartedly.”
