While police were dealing with a fight between two males a young Portadown woman became involved in the incident and was arrested for disorderly behaviour.
Nicole Duffy (18), Churchill Park, Portadown, was fined £200 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for disorderly behaviour.
She was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that on November 29 last year at 12.20am in William Street, Lurgan, there was an ongoing fight which was observed by CCTV operators.
Two males, who were topless, were fighting with each other. Police separated them but they began punching each other again.
Two females became involved. Duffy, who had come out of a nearby bar, became aggressive and ran towards police with her fists clenched.
There were around 10 to 15 people involved and they were extremely hostile towards the police and each other. Duffy was arrested.
