The former Programme Manager for Older People in the old Foyle Trust believes a new model of supporting housing is the future of residential care.
Stella Cummings, now a non-executive director, discussing statutory residential care, told a meeting of the Western Trust board: “It is a difficulty for staff because of their vested interest, however, the new model of supported housing is the future.”
