Queen’s baton on Foyle

World class Londonderry triathlete Aileen Reid rowed the Queen’s baton up the River Foyle with the City of Derry Boat Club on Wednesday (May 21).

The baton is on its way across seventy nations and territories and will have travelled 190k kilometres in 288 days by the time of the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
