Van containing 7,000 litres of ‘laundered fuel’ seized near Maghera
A transit van containing around 7,000 litres of suspected laundered fuel has been seized by Magherafelt PSNI.
The van, which was carrying two diesel pods in the back, was stopped by police near Maghera.
Const. Dean Lovell said: “The van was stopped by Police on Monday (September 14) in the Maghera area.
“Two pods of diesel were discovered.
“A vehicle was seized and enquiries are ongoing. Police are currently working with HMRC.”
