Video: Parade commemorates start of WWI
The Ancre Somme Commemoration Association held a parade in the town on Saturday evening to mark the event which sparked the First World War - the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
The parade included a number of people in period dress and special guest was honorary member Andy Allen, who was severely wounded in combat in Afghanistan. Donations were taken on the night for Andy’s charity AA Veterans Support.
