WATCH: '˜Rainbow Rampage' raises £7,000 for cancer charity
More than 700 pupils took part in the aptly named ‘Rainbow Rampage’ colour run, which was organised by the school’s A2 PE class as part of their coursework.
TV presenter Denise Watson, a former pupil of Wallace High, acted as official starter for the ‘Start White Finish Bright’ event, which saw pupils dressed in white t-shirts navigate a course around the school playing fields while eager teachers pelted them with handfuls of colourful powered paint.

Wallace High School has thanked all those who helped make the fundraiser such a great success.
The money raised will go to Cancer Fund for Children and its Daisy Lodge facility in Newcastle, which provides short breaks for young cancer patients and their families.
