Waterside gorse fires
POLICE are investigating two gorse fires in the city on Monday evening - one in Cunningham's Lane behind Currynierin around 5pm and another at fields in Lettershandoney around 6.30pm.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity in these areas is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or email a member of Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team (Urban) on [email protected]. Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously through the 'Crimestoppers' charity on freephone 0800 555 111.
