Woman in her twenties assaulted by an ‘unknown male’ in Cookstown

The incident is alleged to have taken place in the Burn Road area of Cookstown on the evening of Sunday 28 June.

At approximately 7pm, it was reported that a female had been assaulted by an unknown male in the area.

She sustained a cut to her lip as a result.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone with any information to contact officers at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101.
