A Tandragee woman was fined £175 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for using a mobile phone while driving.
Naomi Ruth Hamilton (30), Kirkside, Tandragee, was also given three points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard she was seen using her phone while driving on the Armagh Road, Portadown, on October 8 last year.
Her solicitor said she had taken a friend to hospital and that friend had called her to say she was ready to go home.
He added that she already had six live points on her licence and was beginning to build up something of a record.
She had since got Bluetooth for her car.
