The Dog Ears team is “on a mission to inspire a love of reading and to encourage the children of Northern Ireland to fall in love with books, stories and illustration”, and is working in association with Culture Company 2013 Ltd, Tesco, BookTrust, and Libraries NI. The Londonderry-based children’s media company also aims to “create quality content for kids.

We put all our creative energy into creating and developing beautiful things for children to enjoy, we’re passionate about our work and believe in what we do”. While 2013 saw the first Humdinger! festival, a sequel is being planned, says the company which is determined to spread “the reading bug”.
