Academy hockey sides bring down curtain on campiagn
The curtain came down on another successful and enjoyable season for Ballymena Academy’s girls’ hockey teams last week.
The Galgorm Road girls reflected on the campaign at their annual end-of-season awards dinner, held at Ballymena Golf Club.
Coaches and players welcmed sponsors and guests to the event, including guest speaker Liz Weir.
The evening featured jewellery, fashion and a silent auction, while food was provided by Jane Allen.
The very successful evening raised over £2000 for Hockey Club funds.
