Ballinascreen Club Summer Camp 2012 for children currently in P3-U12 will take place Mon 2nd – Fri 6th July 2012 – Cost £15 for the week which includes a fantastic a goodie bag (with football, hurling ball, camp t-shirt, water-bottle and rucksack).  Application forms will be available in the next few days through the schools, at trainings or in the Credit Union, forms should be returned with payment to the Credit Union before Fri 1st June. Note forms received after this date will NOT receive a goodie bag.  This is a super week led by club coaches who volunteer their time, sign up early to avoid disappointment.

Mon – U6 Boys Football – 6.15-7.30pm on the 3G at Backrow, U12 Boys Football – 6.45-8.00pm at Cahore

Wed – U8 & U10 Boys Football – 6.15-7.30pm at the Backrow 3G/Grass

Thurs – U12 Hurling – 6.45-8.00pm at Cahore

Fri – U6/8/10 Hurling – 6.45-8.00pm at the Backrow 3G/Grass

All sessions are £1 to help cover cost of facility hire & equipment

Ballinascreen 5-18 Lavey 2-13 @ Lavey

In a free flowing game in Lavey last Saturday Screen made their way up the league table and into 2nd place with an emphatic victory over Erin’s Own. The next match is at Dean McGlinchey Park in a top of the table clash against Slaughtneil. The game throws in this Friday at 7pm.

No Action for the Senior this week but next up is Greenlough away on 10th June so hopefully we’ll get another great turnout of support for the lads!! Camogie

U6 - U12 Camogie moves up to the top pitch at the club every Wednesday from 5.45pm to 6.45pm for these four age groups. U6s are P1 and P2, U8s are P3 and P4 and U10s are P5 and P6. It is £5 registration and £1 each week, which goes towards the lotto. All new players at any age group are welcome to come along. U14 Camogie is at Cahore pitch on Monday evenings from 6pm. U16 Camogie at club pitch from 5.45pm on Thursday evenings. Minor Camogie on Sunday mornings from 9am to 11am at club. Senior Camogie Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7 - 8.30pm The u14s played a league match against Newbridge last Thursday night and after a very tight and hard fought game, Screen were unlucky to come out on the losing side. Good luck to the 8 Screen girls: Eimear, Jackie, Una, Shannon, Niamh, Eimear, Righnach and Rachel  who will be taking part in the U14 Ulster final playing for St. Marys Magherafelt next week. Also Good luck to Meghan, Orla and Aine who will be playing in the year 8 Ulster final next week, also playing for St.Marys Magherafelt. The Underage Camogie would like to avail of any old helmets that any players have lying around or no longer need. Please contact Mary McGuigan, Martina McGillian or ann Kelly who would be willing to buy them from you. Ballinascreen are constantly trying to find better ways of updating our Club members with what is going on around the Club. Whether it’s scores for matches or events being held at the Club you can now find out on the web.
