Ballinderry ease into final
Ballinderry had an easier than expected passage into the final of the Lisburn Zone Cup when they beat Priesthill by 23 shots on Friday night.
A couple of weeks back Priesthill had given Ballinderry’s League title hopes a jolt when they won 5-2, but it was much different this time.

Hide AdIt was 3-3 at the fourth, but two threes helped Ian Ferguson to a 10-4 lead at eight ends. Gordon Stubbs finished with one, two but still lost by three shots.
Eddie Marsden started with one, three, three, but Sid Heazleyrecorded a three to pull back to 5-8 with two ends left. Ballinderry finished with one, four to win by eight shots and their interval lead was five shots.
Ahead 6-1 at the fourth Paul Reid added three and four to lead 13-2 at the seventh. Roy Kennedy added one, two but Ballinderry finished with a single to win by nine shots.
Raymond Stubbs started with three and was 8-0 up at the fourth. B. Martin came back to 8-4 at the seventh but Ballinderry finished with a three to win by nine shots.
