BASC NI Young Shots Activity Day

YOUNG people are being offered the chance to take part in a ‘Young Shots’ activity day in north Antrim on the April 27 organised by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).

BASC NI will offer the opportunity to try supervised .22 rifle target shooting, learn quarry identification and find out more about the work of BASC’s Green Shoots programme.

The Glens Red Squirrel Group will highlight the effects that grey squirrels have on the native red squirrel population, how to set humane traps for grey squirrels and look after feeders for reds.
