Brown takes third at Albertville five-mile road race in Belfast
David Clarke led the ECAC contingent home in 18:33, taking almost a minute off his best time and claiming second place. Andy Guy was next in 18:49, securing third.
Mark Lockwood was 12th (24:26), while Carol Clarke finished second in the ladies’ category in (26:47, pb). Kelly Deller (28:17 pb) took fifth (ladies’ category). Seven-year-old East Coast Cheetah Rhys McManus, accompanied by dad, Mark, finished in an impressive 29:30, taking 20th place.

Hide AdRowena and Chris Davis timed 32:13 (8th lady) and 32:14 (32nd overall) respectively.
Other times: Caoilfhinn McLoughlin (38:27); Kirstie Gore (42:05); Keilan McManus (49:05), Maggie Deller (49:15) also completed their first-ever parkrun accompanied by Jenny Magill (49:06).
James Brown, Allan McCullough, Naoise McLoughlin and James Robinson took part in the ‘Albertville 5-mile’ road race in Belfast.
Brown powered down the finishing straight securing third in a new personal best of 26:34.

Hide AdElsewhere, Justin Maxwell took a top-10 finish at the Slieve Gullion mountain race when he completed the tough course in 35:44.
On Sunday, international triathlete, Adele Neill completed the at the Setanta Triathlon Club’s Duathlon in an impressive 1:00:05, claiming third place in an extremely competitive ladies’ event.
Davy Clarke also completed the Setanta Triathlon Club Duathlon, finishing second in his Vet50 category.
