Comprehensive Win for Dervock in Irish Junior Cup

Dervock travelled to Newtown Forest for their Irish Junior Cup game and they got off to a flyer when after two minutes Ryan Boyd finished off a good move.

Ten minutes in it was 2-0 after Dale Armstrong got on scoresheet. A couple minutes later Sammy mcConaghie scored from the spot to make it 3-0.

Dale Armstrong finished smartly after a great set up from Ady McCook to make it 4-0 and Ryan Boyd got a quick brace in last couple mins of the half with a header and free kick to get his hat trick.

The second half was much the same as before with Dervock dominating, Sammy McConaghie got his second goal before Newton pulled one back with 20 minutes to go before Nathan Patton ran through and chipped the keeper when one on one and Kenny Kane completed the scoring with a good finish with a couple minutes remaìning.
